Wallet holders become residents, and their city-born children can live here without wallets. Liquidity pools and other program-owned accounts, burn addresses and listed exchange wallets are left out. Housing follows a wallet’s share of token supply. Selling all holdings starts a hospital grace period; if the wallet remains empty when it ends, the resident dies. Buying back during that period lets it recover. Buying back after an adult dies resurrects it; a cracked egg starts development again.
When the server recognizes a wallet transfer, it preserves the resident’s identity and records the move. Not every sale and purchase is a recognized transfer. Children inherit genes and the tier of their richest living parent; they do not own a token wallet. If no parent remains in the city, they depart.
Wallet-founded flies get their genes from their original wallet address, using traits based on real Drosophila melanogaster mutations: white, yellow, ebony, sepia, cinnabar, Bar, Curly and vestigial. City-born children inherit genes from their parents. Recognized wallet moves preserve the resident’s genes. Flies with vestigial wings can't fly, so they walk everywhere.
Flies work jobs for crumbs, the city's play money. Crumbs can't be bought, sold or withdrawn. The richest flies own the bars, bakeries, markets and the club, and throw parties at home. Flies make friends and rivals, get into scuffles when they're hungry, and males court females with a wing song. Staying out late leaves flies groggy the next day.

Behaviour on top of the simulated drives (where to go, jobs, friendships) is game logic, not brain simulation.
